One of the primary community services of Network is the annual scholarship program. For more than 20 years, Network has provided monetary support to women who would not ordinarily be able to afford educational programs. The objective of the Network of Executive Women scholarship awards is to offer scholarships to women in need of financial assistance for educational undergraduate degrees, retraining, or certification purposes thereby enabling them to find meaningful employment, better their present position, or re-enter the work force. Despite the incredible demands made on these women, they commit themselves to furthering their education in pursuit of a better life for themselves and their families.

Applicants must meet all the following requirements:

· Reside in or attend a post-secondary education program in New Haven or Fairfield Counties

· Demonstrate financial need.

· Have had an interruption of their education.

· Be returning, continuing, or commencing undergraduate schooling or other types of training to further their educational goals and/or enhance job skills.

Please note that 2024/2025 high school graduates are not eligible. 

Scholarships are funded through NEW sponsored events, member participation and private donations. 

Scholarship finalists will be interviewed by the NEW Scholarship Committee and awards will be presented in the spring.
